Suzanne Southerland is a speech instructor at Clark College.  She joined the faculty of Clark College in September 2002.  A graduate of University of Portland and Portland State University, Suzanne earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a master’s degree in communication with special emphasis in the area of mass communication. Suzanne specializes in Mass Media studies, including a class called "Mass Media and Society," focusing on the 2004 presidential election and how it was covered by the news media.
