Sandra Woodward has been an English instructor at Clark College since September 1988.  A graduate of Park College in Kansas City, Missouri,  Sandra has a BA in English, an MA in English from the University of Kansas, and forty-plus hours of graduate course work in broadcast journalism from the University of Missouri at Columbia. 

Sandra regularly teaches American Literature, Introduction to Fiction, Introduction to Drama, and Women’s Literature at Clark, as well as all levels of composition. She was the first faculty director of Outcomes Assessment at Clark.   

Besides teaching at several different colleges during her career, Sandra was a field producer and nightly news producer at KMBC-TV in Kansas City for three years.  She continues a lively interest in journalism and literary non-fiction.
