Laurits "Dix" Dixon  is a professor in the Department of Nursing at Clark College.  He is currently the team leader for the 5^th quarter of the nursing program. He joined the faculty of Clark College in fall of 1994.  He is a graduate of California State University at Sacramento with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas.

Dix is retired from the Army Nurse Corps where he worked mostly in Intensive Care Units and education.
