Kathleen holds a B.A. in Geography from the University of Delaware and a M. S. in Environmental Science from the University of New Haven, CT. She currently serves on several tenure committees and is on the RAP/Clark II committee. She is involved with the Columbia Springs Environmental Education Center in Vancouver and had served on their board as the Clark College representative for two years. In her spare time, she has worked with the state endangered western pond turtle since 2001 as a contract employee for Washington State Fish and Wildlife Department. Kathleen lives in the west end of the Columbia River Gorge in a straw bale house. She is interested in issues of sustainable living, renewable energy and wildlife ecology. Before coming to Clark College, she spent 14 years as an environmental educator on the east coast.
