Dr. Gerard Smith

Dr. Gerard Donnelly Smith is Professor of English at Clark College.  He joined the faculty of Clark College in September 1991. 

A graduate of Bowling Green State University,  he earned a doctorate in creative options with a specialization in rhetoric and composition.  He earned an MA in American Literature from the University of Toledo, and a B.S. in Journalism from Bowling Green State University.

Dr. Smith specializes in technical report writing, rhetoric and composition, and creative writing.  Dr. Smith is a published poet and a columnist for Swans magazine, writing political commentary and essays concerning genocide.
