Bill Wheeler

Bill Wheeler is an Engineering Instructor at Clark College and the WSUV Engineering and Science Institute.  He joined the faculty of Clark College in September 2001. 

A graduate of the University of Michigan, Bill earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, and also received a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (with distinction) and Master of Science in Management from the Naval Postgraduate School.  He is a graduate of the Duke University, Fuqua School of Business, Executive Management Program.

Bill teaches courses in introductory engineering, mechanics, thermodynamics and CAD.  During his Navy career he served as an operating engineer, industrial project manager, repair facility manager, in-service-engineer, and major program manager.  He qualified as an Engineering Duty Officer and completed service as a Captain.  He received the Naval Ship Systems Command Award in Naval Engineering and the Legion of Merit for service as Director of Engineering and Maintenance for the Commander of the Naval Surface Force of the Pacific Fleet.
