1993 - Dracy (Church) Welch

Clark College’s track and field “most valuable” and “outstanding sophomore” in 1993, Dracy was a dedicated and hardworking long distance runner as she set the school record in the 3,000 and 5,000 meters. She also took on basketball at Clark and was a member of the 1993 team as they went 33-0 that season; she contributed to their success as she was voted “most inspirational” and “athlete of the year.” She carried her success on to Eastern Oregon University where she set the 10,000 meters school record and was named the track and field MVP in 1994. Dracy also attended Portland State University and obtained a master’s in special education and currently owns and operates Welch Appraisals with her husband.
